Welcome to ShadowedLife.'s Web Award for 2008. This competition is created to nominate the top sites that deserves recognition because of their extremely hard work and effort they have putted into their websites. ShadowedLife does not grade easier on his affiliates/partners/etc.. This competition is from ShadowedLife's point of view. Keep reading below to see what sites are graded by. Here is the schedule of this event:
October 4,2008-November 27,2008: Accept Website Entries. ThanksGiving is the last day to apply, so don't procrastinate.
December 1,2008-December 6,2008: Voting Session!!! Get all of your fans to vote for your site! To be honest, voting won't do much help besides impressing me which COULD lead to winning, but most cases it's very unlikely.
December 7,2008-December 11,2008: Relax while I go through all of your websites. Everyone takes a break on the 12th.
December 13,2008-December 20,2008: Top 3 Sites undergoes another session of voting~ Thank you to all the sites that have participated! You will be given an award for participation.
December 21,2008-December 27,2008: Another personal time for additional thoughts into sites.
December 29,2008: 3RD PLACE WINNER ANNOUNCED.
ABOUT THE COMPETITION.
It's not only about votes.
Most of the competitions you've been such as Site of the Months and other webawards were based mostly on how many votes you get, but in my personal opinion, that's not how to judge a site. A website isn't better than another website just based on hits. ShadowedLife. is going to be the only judge here and will decide which site will win. To APPLY, all you have to do is email me at joondashbug{@}live.com with your name, sitename, and siteURL, OR you can just drop a comment on my main website with those informations and you will be added to the list. You must put one of the banners below on your site to be accepted into the competition when it starts.

DO NOT DO NOT let any of the sites that are already entered scare the crap out of you and prevent you from joining. The winner is NOT based on votes only. If your website url has a * next to it, that indicates that you have not yet added a banner to your website and therefore cannot participate in this once a year competition and if your site url has a ! next to it, it means that your site is currently down in some way.
