Past Layouts This was the next layout that I had up. The design itself was created long before version 16 and I couldn't wait to put it up. Turns out that after I had it up for couple days, it was really bright and messy, both unattractive. I believe part of it was from the css. I think the image header itself was pretty good. The navigation links were unique, yet plain and bright. Overall, I believe this layout just got old after looking at it for so long- but it was pretty nice for a little bit.

After the extremely long downtime, I have decided to open a new website, but while I was opening a new website, I thought about all of the hard work I have put into running my current website and decided to deal with the problem. Thankfully, after many many hours of devotion and effort, my site is partically back up and running during this layout. The problem with this layout was that the two teal textareas at the top of the content area (elite and welcome message) didn't match. What I mean by that is that the heights were different in many browsers, therefore, I have decided to take it down in less than a week. I did like the color and the layout design itself though.

T.O.P is a member of the korean pop group, BIG BANG. They call him the "Power Rapper" possibly because of his deep yet firm voice. Anyway, he's cool, probably my favorite male artist in Korea. The black background blended in nicely with his face rofl not to sound weird or anything, but just the whole look with the navigation as tabs on the side of the blogging area and all. I think this layout grew boring because of it's lack of creativity and simplicity.

This layout had the typical myspace look to it, you know, with the three columns with the list of affiliates and so on... a section for myspace, section for other stuff. It was really plain, I really liked how it was simple, but it got really messy and plain... a little too plain and messy as days past, but the main font that was used, el&font gothic, was superb with the dark angel wings on the sides and such, haha my favorite font of all times XD.

Version13.0||Cold Autumn Breeze

This has got to be my most favorite layout of all yet. The whole layout and look was like that exactly of a typical blog site, which I've wanted to have for such a long time. The top banner was an inspiration from Paint-pops.net. The only issue was that a visitor didn't really appreciate me "knocking-off" someone else's layout.. so I was determined to change it, but then found the layout I made before Version 14.0 very ugly, so I trashed it. Therefore, this layout stayed up for a couple more days and finally when I got bored of it, I decided to just create a simple layout with texts only... which is now known as version 14.0.

Version12.0||Frozen Icecube Frost

The brown layout was getting really ugly and fat for me so I had to narrow the width of the content area as well as the navigation and although I wanted to change it to only one navigation sidebar, I couldn't do that due to time, so there it is. It looks pretty good though, I liked it a lot in the beginning. I just tend to get bored of every layout I make after a little while. It seems like nowadays, it's getting harder and harder to change layouts idk why... it's really weird. Natty keeps complaining it's a shark... not an icecube... and this is her proof.DATES: 9/12/08-9/19/08

Version11.0||Simple Brown

Once school started, I didn't feel as cheerful as before, so I had to move on into a dark layout. The popular trend in making website layouts then was to make this horizontal image that stretches across the entire page with a simple design in the middle... ya now? Well, mine's just really short in height, but it turned out fine in the beginning... only it grew to be very ugly as days went by. I needed a layout change badly, so therefore, this layout didn't make a full week.

Version10.0||Natty @ Kara-sachi.co.nr

One day as Natty and I were chatting on msn, we didn't even know we were both making our next website layouts while talking, but it was soon discovered. We both didn't like how our layouts were turning out, so the clever Natty decided to suggest switching layouts and so we did o-o. I got the incredible photography layout and she got my ugly unfinished weird random brush layout, but she added some stuff to it and it looked a lot better at the end. Emm... I was guessing everyone would hate this layout because of my horrible css job, but surprisingly, everyone loved it and it even inspired some people T-T. Gawd I'm so unfortunate to not have Natty's talents.

Version9.0||BoA ~ Girls On Top

I took on a new style in webdesigning. The blog width got to be more than 680px and everything was looking huge... I guess it's hard for visitors who has a screen resolution less than 1024x768 to view my website, but everything was looking good. I was able to organize pages, and make more new affiliates (friends) and more traffic than usual. I do believe some people were scared of the layout though hahaha. *points to my friend irl*

Version8.0||Super Mario Galaxy

One thing that bothered me was that the entire layout looked a bit weird if the sidebar was longer than the content area of the layout.. lol if you know what I'm talking about at all. This is my very first layout with an actual footer. It was pretty cool. I view this layout as very shiny and polished. XD Very first video game layout ever made in ShadowedLife... very first layout that features something besides random shapes and designs XD haha.

Version7.0||A New Revolution

The layout by itself was very nice, however, I don't think I placed the left side textboxes in the correct place. It looks way too up and I get this "cutout" feeling when looking at the white textbox background clash with purple. I tried transparent background, but that didn't work either. So... it wasn't bad, but it was kind of lame, but I still liked it, it just changed so quickly because I made a new one XD.

Version6.0||My Home City Seattle

I liked the photo used in this layout very much. I don't really get to visit downtown Seattle that often, so looking at this layout reminds me of how it looks like and it of course, has some memories in it as well. Good times. I liked the color choices, the headers, etc. Everything looked pretty good, not bad at all and it's not so boring even now, just a little old, haha.

Version5.0||Lime Flash

This layout seriously took only 10mins at most to make. The previous layout was getting so boring and dull, I almost felt like giving up on webdesigning. So I just put together this incredibly simple layout with a splash of bright lime to it and uploaded it right there on the spot, but after a day, it appeared to have an intense brightness that hurted my eyes. Well, I guess it wasn't that bright, but it was probably bright enough to keep some visitors temporary away from the site maybe? I'm hoping not, but alas, this layout is finished! No regrets, no accomplishments, just a simple transition.

Version4.0||City Love

My first professional Attempt, haha. When I look back at it... it's definitely not professional, but it had some nice looks to it. I liked the darkness of it the first time I putted this layout up and I was really really excited that this layout was the very first with a pattern that I created as the background. It looked nice, really, but after a while, it got drastically boring and lame and dark. For Shadowedlife, it was a good layout to have as its 4th version. I don't regret putting this layout up. This layout was the first to have the feature update box., but the screenshot doesn't show it because it was later that I added this feature.

Version3.0||Burst Of Ice

This layout had an excellent color scheme to it. Blue, gray, and white. The main focus were the two shapes next to the site name (the circle and the sunray looking) and many different smaller brushes and effects were added to it to make it look how it is! I was really excited to put that layout up and that's when I started receiving visitors and friends! The start of the big impact. I really really liked this layout a lot! Simple yet eye catching and beautiful.

Version2.0||The bright town

The layout had a unique brush design on it. The few stands that appear to look like lamps are actually originally facing sideways. I'm guessing they're really used for headers or something, but creativity takes you somewhere, haha. I liked how the website url was on the tab, but I very much disliked the colors used and the css... therefore, it wasn't up for even 3days. I'm sure I won't miss it very much... haha. Oh well, webdesigning experience.

Version1.0||A star is born

The very first layout. A star is born. You can see the black star next to the title that symbolizes the beginning of this website. It's very simple and boring, yet I liked the color scheme and the css very much. There weren't many visitors, haha. Received 1 comment right before the layout was changed. I don't regret this layout at all. I believe it was a good way to start this website.
